Dorothy R. Clark

Dorothy R. Clark, (nee Rozwens), age 87, of Minooka, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home. Born November 1, 1932 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Irene (nee Rajewski) Rozwens. She married Raymond C. Brown and he preceded her in death in 1993. She later married Walter H. Clark, Jr. and he preceded her in 2016. Dorothy worked as a librarian for Country Club Hills School District #160. A strong and independent woman, Dorothy had the ability to make everyone smile, laugh and feel special. She will be remembered as a devoted mom, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her loving daughter, Judy (Michael) Cimarolli of Lockport; a sister, Lucille (James) Plotkowski of Texas; two nieces; two nephews; six great-nephews; and two great-nieces. Services for Dorothy Clark will be private and interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip. Fred C. Dames Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Dorothy was a very special lady. We lived next door to her and Herb. We still refer to the house as " the Clarks" and we always will. To Judy ...please know we will always think of her fondly.
