Lawrence "Larry" A. Perkins, 65, of Hastings, NY died on May 22, 2020 at home. He was born on January 7, 1955 in Syracuse, NY to Chester and Mary (Strout) Perkins.

In his early life, he managed multiple grocery stores and more recently, was a car salesman.

Larry enjoyed taking trips to Maine to visit family, classic cars, motorcycles, classic rock, " he preferred the sounds of records over cds", playing poker and nostalgic trivia, and spending Tuesday nights in the summer cheering on the Sandbar Ladies Softball Team. Larry was a kind hearted man who would give you the shirt off his back. 

Larry is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Michael Johnson) Perkins; his faithful dog, Spicey; parents, Chester and Mary Perkins,; 3 siblings, Kelvin (Kim)  Perkins, Timothy (Tracey) Perkins, and Cheryl (Robert Figger) Perkins; several aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins, all whom will cherish his memory. He also leaves behind his companion, Irene Danadio and close friends, Judy Dashnaw and Patricia Watchorn.

A Celebration of Larry's Life will be celebrated at a later date.
