Mr. Paschal "Pat" Salamone, 74, of Bessemer, AL passed away on May 23, 2020. Pat was born in Birmingham on January 11, 1946. He attended John Carroll Catholic High School and Jacksonville State University. He worked as Sales Manager at Alabama Jack Co. for many years, and loved horses, cooking, Auburn football, and rescuing animals. Pat was a mentor to his children and very close to his brothers and sisters. He had a magnetic personality, enjoyed the company of others, and never met a stranger. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jospeh Anthony Salamone and Catherine Perricotti Salamone.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Pittman Salamone; son, Joe "Joey" Salamone (Angela); daughter, Shae Sullivan Billingsley (Charles); grandchildren, Caleb Billingsley, Cooper Billingsley, and Christina Salamone; brother, Carl Salamone (Mary Lou); and sisters, Mary Tombrello (John) and Mag Portera (Cecil).

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will immediately follow in the Abbey Mausoleum at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Greater Birmingham Human Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
