Robert E. Meyer Obituary
Robert E. Meyer, 82, of Palmyra passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his home.
Born May 7, 1938 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Edward L. and Mary A. (Bentzel) Meyer and widower of Ruth N. (Wagner) Meyer since Saturday, May 26, 2001. He was also preceded in death by a son John D. Meyer in 1977.
Retired from Meyer Wood Products and as a farmer, he was a member of Dohner Mennonite Church.
Surviving are his children Anna M. Meyer of Palmyra, Esther N. Meyer of Palmyra, Emma R. Meyer Verna and husband Edward J. of Lebanon, Mark D. Meyer and wife Sandra K. (Deimler) Meyer of Palmyra, and Paul R. Meyer of Palmyra; sister Jean Meyer Cartwright and husband Ronald of McClellanville, South Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and nephew Sean and wife Julie.
Private service at his church with interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
