<p>Leslie Krum, Jr.<br /> North Branch, NY<br /> August 29,1938-May 22, 2020<br /> Born to Leslie Krum, Sr. and Ethelyn Hackett Krum in Neversink, NY. Les attended Tri Valley Central School&nbsp; and SUNY Delhi where he earned an associates degree.<br /> His life long career was at Delaware Valley&nbsp; Central School&nbsp; in Callicoon for 35 years as a transportation specialist<br /> from 1968-2003.<br /> Les is survived by two daughters: Sandy Fay- Settler (Alan) of Brentwood, NY and Karen Skelly (Mike) of&nbsp; North Branch, NY. His grandchildren: Jennifer Harvey (Edwin), Mike Skelly, Jr. (Kate), and Kevin Skelly. Great grandchildren : Chris Williams (Victoria), Jason Harvey, Aaliyah Harvey, Asaiah Montalvo, Emma Skelly, and Mike Skelly III, and great great grandson Joel Williams and by his brother Richard Krum of Neversink, NY.&nbsp;&nbsp;Les was predeceased by his daughter Debra and son Roger.<br /> Les had many hobbies that included stock car racing&nbsp; with his son&nbsp; and grandsons . He loved trains and was an avid model train collector.&nbsp;<br /> His greatest passion were the children in his life. He had hundreds of them during his 35 year career at DVCS where he knew each and everyone of them.He would spend time with them looking at their work of the day or just listening to stories and talking with them. Les spent his later years sharing his love of model trains with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandson.&nbsp;<br /> Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the North Branch Fire Department, or a charity of ones choice.<br /> Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home Jeffersonville, NY 845-482-4280. Les will be missed,he was my husband sat DV,when my husband died in 1996 in a car accident, les brought the school bus to the funeral, so touching to us,may he rest in peace
