Denzil Warren Westfall, 79 of Grafton, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 15, 1941 in Simpson the son of the late James Madison and Bertha Betty Lake Westfall. Denzil is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Margarette Sue Auvil Westfall, Grafton, they were married July 12, 1962.

He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler, being with his family and was a member of the American Legion Post 12. Denzil retired with 30 years from Consol Energy as a mining machine operator.

Denzil is survived by three children, Lisa Sapp and husband Jeffrey, Grafton,  Denny Westfall and wife Mary Lynn, Fairmont, Brad Westfall and wife Lynn, Washington, PA,  six grandchildren, Jeffrey Sapp Jr., Trisha Sapp, Kiley Westfall, Kason Westfall, Noah Westfall, Blake Westfall, one great-granddaughter, Jordyn Sapp, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Otis C. Westfall, and Carl Westfall.

Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave Grafton on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 2:00PM to 8:00PM with proper distancing and face mask required. A private funeral service will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at 11:00AM with Pastor Chuck Jeffries officiating. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery.
