Karen Arlene Comfort, age 65 of Chadbourn, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at her residence, with family by her side. Karen was born on November 29, 1954, in New York, to the late Clarence Comfort and Ida Rose Comfort. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Comfort, and Doreen Comfort. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Gary Lee Crowell, of the home; sons, Robert Allen Crowell, of Alburn, NY, Clarence Eugene Crowell, of Chadbourn; siblings, Blanche Banghart, of Huguenot, NY, Miles Comfort, of Mattamores, PA, Shawn Comfort, of Swan Lake, NY; 6 grandchildren, Ashley Crowell, Ariana Crowell, Jade Crowell, Alexis Crowell, Robert Crowell, Jr. and Ida Crowell; great-grandchildren, Emily Plumely, Aurora Ost, Syrus Castellano.
