Ruth Partridge

Ruth Partridge, age 97, of Amity, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020. She was born on June 9, 1922 in Zephyr, Texas, the daughter of Walter Augustus Phinney and Easter Morgan Phinney. On August 12, 1939, she was married to Bro. Jesse M. Partridge who preceded her in death on January 24, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jesse Partridge, Jr.; her daughter, Mary Jester; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Partridge; two brothers; and three sisters. She was an Assembly of God minister and, along with her husband, active in many of the local Assembly of God churches. Her church work was her life along with taking care of her family. She is survived by her son, Danny Partridge of Little Rock; her daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Glenn Wehunt of Caddo Gap; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2020, in the Jones Cemetery at Amity with Bro. Steve Partridge officiating.
