Renee Celeste Parton, age 54 of Jolo, West Virginia passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at her home. Born October 29, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Carol Bozzer of Maxie, Virginia and the late Richard Bozzer. She was a school teacher currently teaching at Twin Valley High School. Renee taught in the school system for 29 years. SURVIVORS INCLUDE in addition to her mother, Carol Bozzer of Maxie, Virginia Her Husband Ken Parton of Jolo, West Virginia Son Seth Compton of Nashville, Tennessee Daughter McKenna Parton of Jolo, West Virginia Brother Brett Bozzer and wife Linda of Oakwood, Virginia Nephews Jacob Bozzer and Josh Harman Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services for Renee Celeste Parton will be held Monday, May 25, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia with Mike Rife officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park at Big Rock, Virginia. Friends may call after 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 25, 2020 prior to the funeral at 1:00 P.M. Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Bozzer, Josh Harman, Jacob Bozzer, Frank Johnson, Joe Hagerman, and Greg Bozzer. This is a beautiful picture of Renee. I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I will miss talking to her at school events. She was always smiling. We would reminisce about McKenna in kindergarten at J.M. Bevins and Ken's lunch box collection!
