Peggy Ruth Wathen, of Houston, passed away on May 22, 2020. She was born on October 16th, 1933 in Cross Roads to the late Reba Frances Wathen and James Richard Wathen. She is survived by her sister Joan (Wathen) Maniscalco and her husband Joseph; James R. Wathen and his wife Jeanne; nieces and nephews; Michele Tyson and her husband Michael; Lisa Hildebrand and her husband Sam; Stephen Maniscalco and his wife Jill; Angelica Jeffers and her husband D J. Peggy loved her family passionately. Peggy was employed by Texas Instruments in Arlington. Texas for 35 years. A grave site service will be held at the Athens Cemetery on Wednesday, May 27th at 2:00 P.M. officiated by Father Nolan Lowry of St. Edwards Catholic Church under the direction of Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.Obituary
