Robin Dawn Blevins
<p>Robin Dawn Blevins was born into earthly life on November 27, 1968, in Cape Girardeau, Mo.</p> <p>She was born into eternal life on May 22, 2020, from her home in Marble Hill, Mo., with her loving family by her side.</p> <p>She was the daughter of Jerry Don and Emma Lou Schlimme Long. On April 21, 1990, she married Ernest (Ernie) Neil Blevins in Marble Hill. He survives.</p> <p>Robin was a resident of Marble Hill her entire life. Graduating from the Woodland Schools in 1987, she attended Southeast Missouri State University before working clerical positions for several businesses. She was a legal secretary for the Bollinger County prosecutor’s office, treasurer for the City of Marble Hill, a clerk at the Bollinger County Department of Agricultural ASC office, and lastly, middle school secretary at Woodland Schools. She was a member of Advance First Church in Advance, Mo.</p> <p>She and Ernie were the parents of one daughter, Maria Dawn Blevins. Following Maria’s birth Robin chose to remain home and homeschooled her daughter.</p> <p>She is survived by her husband and daughter; her mother, Emma Long, and a brother, Brian Scott Long, both of Jackson, Mo. Her father preceded her in death.</p> <p>Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Social distancing practices are requested at visitation.</p> <p>Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.</p> <p> </p> <p>In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses.</p>Obituary
