Donald Martin Howell

Donald Martin Howell, age 83, of Ferguson, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home. Donald was born September 20, 1936 in Meade, West Virginia to Walter and Ella Brown Howell. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church. Donald enjoyed cooking, jigsaw puzzles, yardwork, landscaping and planting flowers. He also was a handyman and enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Barbara Howell. Surviving are his children, Donna Parsons and spouse Ron, Danny Howell and spouse Jenny, Dianne Miller and spouse Joel, Dottie Lage and spouse Randy; grandchildren, Scott, Randy, Amy, Matthew, Cassie, Carrie, Isaac, Zoey, Cassidy, Ely, Randall and David; great grandchildren, Emilee, Josiah, Sylas, Keira, Piper, Faina and Skye. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Rex Eldreth officiating. Burial with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard Post 1142 will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel from 1:00 until 2:00 on Wednesday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mtn.
