Howard, Sarah “Barbara” Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday May 22nd, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Howard. Loving mother of Lynn (Rob Prewer), and Lori (Don Corrick). Proud grandmother of Adam (Jessica), Ian, Jennifer, and Ryan; great grandmother of Clara. Dear sister of Milton (Molly), Joan -deceased (Stewart), Helen (Don), and Ron (Marlene). Barbara will be dearly missed by family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society through Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia. (705) 327-0221. Barbara was a much loved member of Glen Rhodes United Church in Toronto’s East End. She served on Committees and was a member of the UCW. It has been a number of years since Barbara moved from her home on Glenside to be closer to family but fond memories remain!

Barbara was such a wonderful cheerful person. I worked with her on one of our committees at Glen Rhodes United Church. She had such a beautiful smile. There are some people you never forget. Barbara was one of them. Rest in Peace
