P. Franklin Lane, 83, Olathe, Kansas passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Prairie Center Church of God, 105 S. Center, Gardner, Kansas 66030 (913) 856-7111. Franklin was born on July 19, 1936 in Olathe, Kansas to Lloyd Edward and Maude Albertina (Rolland) Lane. He was a lifelong Johnson County resident, graduating from Olathe High School in 1954. Franklin married Barbara J. Thomas on June 30, 1961 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a farmer and enjoyed time spent with his family traveling. Franklin was a member of the Prairie Center Church of God, Olathe, Kansas. Franklin is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; children: LaCinda (Richard) Newson, Olathe, Kansas, F. DeWayne (Staci) Lane, Knoxville, Tennessee, Wesley Lane, Olathe, Kansas and Rollin Lane (Rochelle) Lane, Olathe, Kansas; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Lloyd Edward Lane, Jr.
