THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF ALAN BARES THOMASTON- Alan Bart Bares, age 61, of Thomaston, CT was born November 23rd, 1958, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday May 23rd 2020 after a long battle with Lung Cancer. Al was passionate about cooking and having an ice cold beer after a long day. He also enjoyed fishing, music and playing his guitar. He spent his life providing for his loving family. Al was always quick with a witty joke or comment to make people laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. Left to honor his legacy and cherish his love and memory,is his loving wife of 31 years, Sharon (Magnuson) Bares, and their daughter Ashley Bares, of Thomaston. Al also leaves behind his brother Randy Bares of Winchester. Due to the current to governmental restrictions regarding the pandemic, services for Mr Bares will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
