James Keeling

Jim (James) Keeling, 75, of Atkins, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, at his home. He was born January 5, 1945, in Manila, son of the late J.T. and Rozella Keeling. He was a man of many talents, and was a maintenance mechanic for 30 years at Ladish Co. He was an avid sportsman, a champion archer, great outdoorsman and talented fisherman. He could fix anything that we broke, or whatever Ma told him to. He leaves behind an amazing legacy of love for his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Keeling; and two siblings, Jesse Keeling and Henrietta Partain. He is survived by his children, Jeff and Patsy Keeling, Johnny and Tabatha Keeling, Sherri and Keith Childers, Regena and Ray English, and Jamie and Jenny Keeling; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 siblings, Marilyn Keeling and Glen Keeling. A private family memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, May 25 with arrangements under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
