Barbaro, Angelina (nee: Cammarota), age 89, of Hawthorne, on Friday, May 22, 2020. Born in Castagneta, Cilento, Italy, Angelina immigrated to the United States in 1969, settling in Paterson. She had lived in Hawthorne for more than 35 years. Angelina worked as a finisher in a coat factory and was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church in Hawthorne. Angelina was the beloved wife of the late Fiore Barbaro (2012). Loving mother of Michael Barbaro and his wife Kathy of Brigantine, Maria Mattina and her husband Salvatore of Hawthorne and Joseph Barbaro and his wife Sharon of North Haledon. Cherished grandmother of John Mattina and his wife Marianna Acri of Hawthorne, Salvatore Mattina, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Oakland, Angela Mattina and her husband Scott Downs of Hawthorne, Adriana Powell and her husband Michael of Massachusetts, Annalia Chaplin and her husband Chris of Pennsylvania, Gabriella Barbaro of Rockaway, Alyssa Barbaro of North Haledon, Kristen Barbaro of North Haledon and Caitlyn Barbaro of North Haledon. Dear great-grandmother of Ava, Lily, Vivienne, Leo, Brooklyn, Kailey, Matthew, Gabriella, Giovanni and Chelsea. Dearest sister of Jerry Cammarota, Bill Cammarota, Eva Massanova, Rosa Maschetta, the late Anthony Cammarota and the late Catarina Vaccaro.
