Bonita Jo Wunderlich passed away at age 85 on Saturday May 23, 2020 at Essentia Health St Joseph Hospital. A celebration of her life will be on Thursday June 4, 2020 with burial is at Garrison Cemetery. Bonita was born December 30, 1934 to Walter and Mazie Wunderlich. Bonita was a lifelong resident of Brainerd. Bonita was a member of First Congregational Church. Bonita was well known to all she met and if you didn’t know her, you did by the end of her visit. She always had a love for everyone and had wonderful comments for people to brighten their day. Bonita loved to look her best each day making sure her jewelry matched. Her family and friends meant the world to her and she will be missed by all. Bonita is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jack. Bonita is survived by her nephew Dan and Sandy Wunderlich of North Carolina, extended family, her housemates and caregivers. Funeral service will be on June 4, 2020 at 10:00 am at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Burial is at Garrison Cemetery.
