Mrs. Melonie Jo Nolan Watson, age 60 of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Landmark Hospital in Athens, GA. A daughter of Joann Miller Nolan and the late Norman Nolan, she was born February 27, 1960 in Jacksonville, Fl, having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was employed as a nursing Tech at the Stephens County Hospital for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father Norman Nolan and her husband Junior Tut Watson who passed away in 2018. Survivors include her mother, Joann Nolan of West Virginia; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Archie Wisham of Eastanollee, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Chasity Watson of Martin, GA; four grandchildren, Heather, Branden, Brittan and McKinzie; four sisters, Sue Richards of West Virginia, Jeanette Taylor of Jacksonville, Fl, Flettah Hunt of PA, Chris Jeffers of New Smyrna, FL; two brothers, Eugene Nolan and Owen Nolan both of West Virginia. Graveside service will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Derrick Woody officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Timothy Watson, Matt Stamey, Matthew Williams, Stephen Fleming, Leon Taylor and Chuck Watson. Due to the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation. Please keep the family in your prayers in the coming days.
