Private graveside services for Mrs. Dorathy K. Gieger-Davis, 88, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, May 24, 2020 in Dublin Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Joey Diers officiating. Mrs. Gieger-Davis was born May 8, 1932 in Brunswick, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Tucker and Lois Knight. She was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Gieger. Mrs. Dorathy passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Dublinair Nursing Home. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Ann Ward (Al) and her son Perry Wayne Gieger (Deborah) all of Dublin, her brother Emory Knight of Brunswick, grandchildren Kevin Gieger, Rob Ward, Cassie Rogers (Stephen), and Christina Kilgore (Jeremy), and great-grandchildren Logan Ward (Dillon), Amber Rogers, Sydnee Sapp, Colbee Sapp, Brantley Ward, Sophie Ward, and Lexie Ward. Pallbearers will be Cavin Gieger, Rob Ward, Stephen Rogers, Jeremy Kilgore, Dillon Ward, and Hunter Moore. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
