Jasmine L. Finch, 20, of Rome, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020. She was born in Rome on March 1, 2000. She was a 2018 graduate of Rome Free Academy and just this month received her Associates Degree from Herkimer County Community College and had planned to continue her education to achieve her goal to obtain a law degree. Jasmine was currently employed at Cianfrocco’s Subs and Wings in Rome and was in training to become a caregiver. She was a happy person, always smiling and always trying to put a smile on your face. She loved to do makeup, sing and dance and take pictures. She shared a special bond with her sisters, and cherished time spent with her nieces and nephews. Jasmine is survived by her mother, Barbara Cutler; her fiancé, Travis Carpenter; five sisters, Crystal (Lamar) Fowler, Jessica (Donald) Bristol, Janine (Chris) Bristol, Johnna Finch and Tammy Finch; a brother, John Finch, Jr.; her maternal grandmother, Barbara Cutler; her best friend, Emily Dole; and several beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Edward Cutler,Sr., with whom she was very close. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
