Jeanne Risinger

"Jeanne (Willoughby) Risinger, daughter of Henry and Helen Willoughby. was born on August 2, 1922 in Wyndotte, Mi. Jeanne passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020 with family by her side. Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Howard; son, Jon Risinger; and daughter, Carol VanOrd.  Jeanne was loved dearly by her 3 children, 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was best known by the name, "Grams". The love for all of her children was very apparent by the way she lit up when she saw them and made sure their stomachs were always full of the most delicious meals and desserts. Grams did not hesitate when it came to helping anyone and loved everyone equally.  Grams was a Godly woman, proud of her faith and lived by it daily. Reading the bible was a daily ritual, a prayer before every meal was to be expected and when she was able, she attended church every Sunday. She loved church and Jesus so much that she even taught Sunday School for years. Grams enjoyed sharing her faith with everyone. She will be greatly missed by all." A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 9455 Hilton Road, Brighton, MI 48114, on Tuesday, May 26th, at 11AM.
