Betty Lou Lee, age 91, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee, and daughter, Susan Lee. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Sally (Keith) Mumma, Sheryl (Alan) Brown, Janet (Richard) Bredeweg, Nancy (Harry) Stoddard, Lisa (James) Erickson; ; grandchildren Christopher, Susan, Joscelyn (Nick), Lauren (Ben), Audra (Dave), Melissa (Adam), Thomas (Bobbi), Juliana, Andrew (Nicole), Kaleigh, Luke; great-grandchildren; and her sister, Connie (Bill) Brown.

Betty was an active member with her church family over the years. She volunteered her time as a good and faithful servant. Most recently she was a member at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Dorr. Betty was known for her love of baking, making everything from pies, bread, and most importantly, her cookies! It was often stated that no one would leave her house with an empty stomach. She was the best example of how to be a good mom; she loved her family with all her heart. Betty’s willingness to volunteer throughout the community brought her joy.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private, family-only service will be held in June. In memory of Betty and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or Faith Hospice – Trillium Woods.
