Theresa Elizabeth Hann (nee Offrey) Winterhouse Brook, NL 1927 – 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Theresa Elizabeth Hann announce her passing on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point at the age of 92 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sheila Sheppard (John), Gander, Shirley Penney, Kingston, Nova Scotia, Priscilla Campbell (Len), Howley, John Hann (Lisa), Winterhouse Brook, Delores Anderson (Dean), Shoal Brook; grandchildren: Jason Sheppard (Tracey), Jennifer Sheppard (Robert), George Penney (Sonya), Debbie Illingworth (Jeff), Monique Young (Dean), April Sheppard (Andrew), Kristi Hann, Dawson Hann (Patricia), Dustin Anderson (Natalie); 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; special nephew Wade Burt (Beverley); special Caregiver Geraldine Crocker; sisters: Madeline Skinner and Evangeline Burt; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John “Jack” Hann, 1996, grandson Charlie Penney, son-in-law George Penney, parents Allan and Mary Offrey, sisters and brothers Mary Thomas (Elias), Ann Hiscock (Gordon), Cecilia Smith (Rolland Roberts & Roland Smith), Reginald Offrey (Nellie), Eymard Offrey (Mary), Lawrence Offrey, Granville Offrey, Eleanor Tatchell (Gabriel), brothers-in-law Clifford Burt and Arthur Skinner. A very special thank you to Dr. Kawaja, nurses and the entire staff at Bonne Bay Health Centre for their exceptional care. Due to Covid-19 Government Restrictions a private family viewing and service will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Sunday, May 24 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Shoal Brook. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the United Church in Shoal Brook.
