<p>Thomas “Tom” Harold Bond age 85, of Caldwell, OH passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home. He was born August 3, 1934 in Caldwell, OH a son of the late Clyde and Clara Perkins Bond Matheny.</p> <p> </p> <p>Tom and Marilyn were married February 12, 1955. They loved to travel, make items out of wood, and gardening. He loved to rabbit hunt and cook chicken for many family gatherings. Tom retired from GTE in 1990, following many years of service.</p> <p> </p> <p>In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn M. Davis Bond on May 27, 2013; brother Clyde Bond; sister Bonnie Kominar; sister-in-law Kathy Sherman; brothers-in-law Gary Davis, Jim Rayner, and Emil Kominar.</p> <p> </p> <p>Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Denise (Edsel) Young; 2 sons Jeffrey (Kerri) Bond and Tim (Cathy) Bond; sisters Evelyn Rayner, Beverly (Joe) McKee, April (Gene) Winburg; sisters-in-law Evelyn Davis and Alice Bond; 7 grandchildren Shelli, Kelsey, Jamie, Noah, Benjamin, Kaci, and Treavor; 16 great-grandchildren Brooke, Britney, Blake, Christian, Grayson, Mason, Chase, Khloee, Karlee, Deekon, Trinity, Temperance, Tierney, Braxton, Trenton, and Trey; 4 great-great-grandchildren Bode, Lenni, Dale, and Evelyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.</p> <p> </p> <p>The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will conclude visitation at 4:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Perkins and Pastor Anthony Payton co-officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery in Caldwell. Memorial contributions may be directed in Tom’s name to the Absolute Hospice Foundation, 39 Summit Court, Caldwell, OH 43724.</p>August 3, 1934 - May 22, 202008/03/193405/22/2020
