Mrs. Sandra J. Grier, 80, a resident of Fair Bluff, died Friday morning, May 22, 2020, at her residence. 

 

Sandra was born June 1, 1939 in Washington County, OH; a daughter of the late Albert and Rosie Lenarz Baker.

 

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in the Porter Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, NC, with the Rev. Tim Moore to officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the graveside. 

 

Surviving are Sandra's husband, Ollie L. Grier of the home; two sons, William "Bill" Casto of Cerro Gordo and Jonathan Casto of Chadbourn; two daughters, Angie D. Pittman of Linden, NC and Jessica Hardee of Lumberton; a brother, David Baker of FL; a sister, Judy Hobbs of Dearing, GA; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Sandra was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Jane Hamilton and a granddaughter, Jennifer Bigley. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
