Glenda Pearl Shank Pratt, 96, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020. Glenda was born on April 14, 1924, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Joseph Frank and Marion Edith Pease Shank. Glenda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. She was a long-time member of the First Free Will Baptist Church, in Pocahontas. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Frank and Marion Edith Pease Shank; husband, Paul Ezra Pratt; daughter, Marion Pauletta Ward; brothers, Jack and Arvid Shank; son-in-law, Raymond Eugene Ward; and grandson, James David Heine. Glenda is survived by two sons, Larry (Sharon) Pratt, of Godfrey, Illinois, and Mike (Judy) Pratt, of Columbia, Missouri; two daughters, Linda Young, of Bethalto, Illinois, and Kerri (Pete) Forsythe, of Moro, Illinois; grandchildren, Randy (Karin) Ward, Rhonda (Tim) Kincade, Robin (Jim) Porterfield, Beth (Bruce) Cleybergh, Justin (Faye) Pratt, Mike (Niki) Pratt, Jason (Stacy) Hatcher, Lisa Hatcher, Lindsay Turner, Nick Weishaupt, Haley (Matt) Stamper, and Casey (Craig) Starbuck; and many great and great great grandchildren. Glenda’s funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, on Sunday, May 24, 2020, in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas; Nelson Henderson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Jarrett Cemetery, near Maynard. A private family visitation will be held immediately prior to Glenda’s funeral service.
