Calvin Michael "Mickey" Mitchell The family of Mr. Calvin Michael Mitchell, 67, of Kilgore will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Viewing and signing of the memorial book can also be done on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Our online memorial book is available at www.raderfuneralhome.com. Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Calvin was born on October 6, 1952 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Haney and Agnes Mitchell. Calvin worked many years in the oil field of East Texas and recently retired from Maverick Rig Service. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed hog hunting. Calvin got great joy from working with and riding his horses and mules. Calvin is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joyce Mitchell of Kilgore; children, Calvin Dennis Mitchell of McCloud, Texas, Michael Wayne Mitchell and wife April of Mississippi, Karen Jo Valintine “Toots” and husband Jeff of Kilgore and Brenda Joyce Leroy of Overton; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna, Bonnie, Sherry, and Jonette; brother, Carol; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Haney and John: son, Dennis Michael Leroy, Jr.
