Gerald "Jerry" Brandt, 50, of Chino Valley, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at his home. He was born October 18, 1969 in Bridgeport, CT. Jerry was known to many as the dedicated HAM Operator, call sign: KB7YVX. The Administrator for Yavapai County Police and Fire Information & Central Arizona Scanner Chat, Jerry enjoyed bringing the latest news to the local residents & those traveling through our areas. Jerry also loved airplanes. He could hear a plane coming & once outside, he would tell you exactly what kind of plane it was and many of the details associated with it. He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Brandt, of Chino Valley & his brother, Jonathan Brandt of Prescott. Jerry will be greatly missed by those that knew & loved him. Rest In Peace Jerry.....
