Robert Eugene Kirkpatrick, age 61 passed away Friday, May 22nd, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born March 7th, 1959 to the late Virgil Eugene and Betty Kirkpatrick. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Debbie Kirkpatrick. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 26 years, Kelly Marie Kirkpatrick; his three loving daughters, Nicole Kirkpatrick, Brianna Kirkpatrick, Chessica “Hope” McCurdy; brother, Anthony Kirkpatrick; two sisters, Sharon Jolley Grant and Tammy Grant. He also leaves behind five loving grandchildren Lainey, Gabby, Emersyn, Emiliano and Rowan. He was proud to serve in the U.S. Marines and United States Army. He loved the outdoors and camping. There was never a dull moment, he was a big joker. He had a man cave that was decorated from top to bottom with UK, he loved those wildcats. “Go Cats!” When something broke everyone in the neighborhood knew to call Rob, he was a jack of all trades and he could fix anything. Rob will be sadly missed by all. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 from 4-8pm with his funeral being held Thursday, May 28th, 2020 at 11am at Spring Valley Funeral Home, New Albany, Indiana.
