PHILLIPS, Glenna Pauline The passing of Glenna Pauline Phillips (Smith, Thornton) occurred on Friday, May 22 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband, Russell Phillips. Glenna is survived by her daughters, Esther (Rod) Flowers and Margo (Robert) Brewer; stepson, Mark (Lynn) Phillips; grandchildren, Joseph Phillips, Michael Flowers (Paige Smith), Whitney (Cory) Beaumaster, Randy (Kelsey) Flowers & Victoria Brewer (James Kennedy); great grandchildren, Lila & Emerson Flowers and Wyatt Beaumaster, Maddison Smith; sisters, Ruby (Wayne) Waugh and Greta (Glendon) Rae and several nieces and nephews. Special Aunt and sister-in-law Enide Smith. Predeceased by brother, Harry Smith, first husband, Owen Thornton, children Kenneth & Trudy. She was a member of the Dorn Ridge Church of Christ. Glenna had many talents: quilting, knitting socks, card player and puzzle master. She enjoyed being a homemaker at the farm in Dorn Ridge: gardening, pickling and making brown bread. In her years at Regent Hall Shannex she enjoyed socializing/walking with her friends and visits from her grandchildren. Due to Covid-19, there will be no funeral.
