Lucille Ousley Prater, age 86, of Hueysville, KY, widow of Fair Lee Prater, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. She was born January 30, 1934, a daughter of the late Harry and Minnie Bailey Ousley. She retired as a cook for the Golden Years Rest Home.

 

She is survived by three sons: DeVon (Betty) Prater, Timothy Lee (Pamela) Prater and Jeffrey (Cecilia) Prater, all of Hueysville, KY, two brothers; Jesse Ousley, Oklahoma City, OK, Adrian Ousley, Macon, Ga, three sisters; Clara Brown, Louisville, KY, Ada Barnes, Oklahoma City, OK, Reba Joyce Gillian, Fayetteville, NC, nine granchildren; Justin DeVon Prater, Brandon Sturgill, Daniel Kayne Prater, Jeffrey Daryl Prater, Todd Lukas Prater, Lona Michelle Cooper, Stephen Lee Prater, Brayden Dan Prater, Baylee Prater and 10 great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

 

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, May 25, in the Hall Funeral Home chapel with Jerry Manns officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY. Visitation is 6 PM on Saturday and all day Sunday after 10 AM at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
