Earl A Rider Jr. Earl Alfred Rider Jr., 59 of Newport died Thursday morning May 21, 2020 at Kingdom Way in Newport. He was born on June 21, 1960 in Proctor the son of Earl A. and Mable (Jackway) Rider Sr. Mr. Rider grew up in Florence on the family farm and lived for several years he lived in Forestdale and lived his sister Blanch in Brandon for 11 years prior to relocating to Newport. He enjoyed dancing, collecting barbie dolls, and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with his friend Ron from CAP. Mr. Rider was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Brandon. Survivors include 3 sisters Blanch Welch of Brandon, Brenda Thomas in Talkeetna, AK, Regina West of Rutland, 2 brothers Leslie Rider of Pittsford, and Anthony Rider of Hartland, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Gene Rider 2017. Private services will be held at the East Clarendon Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Barnard Funeral Home.
