In the spring of 1969, they returned to Alida to farm with his parents. In 1974, with three hungry sons to feed, Edgar went to work driving tank truck for Ed Gervais. His book collection is massive and covers every topic under the sun.

His biggest concern in the last few weeks is how COVID-19 would impact the future for his children and grandchildren. Most of all, Edgar loved his family and enjoyed watching every event and hobby they participated in. He would proudly say to Shirley “look, we created all of this.”

A private family graveside service has taken place.

Donations in memory of Edgar can be directed to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Ave., Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK.
