Curtis Allen Bandy Obituary

Mr. Curtis Allen Bandy, was born on December 29, 1953 to Annie Bandy Marion and the late Danny Harrington in Scotland County, North Carolina. On the morning of Tuesday, July 18, 2017, God saw he was getting tired and allowed him to quietly slip away to Glory. He is now resting from his labor to his sweet reward.

Curtis was educated in Hoke County Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1972. Curtis was a devoted member of the Shekinah Faith Members. 

To know Curtis was to love him. He was a caring and loving person to everyone that he came in contact with. He loved telling jokes playing horse shoes, checkers, and chess.

Awaiting his arrival around heaven’s throne is his loving and devoted father  Danny Harrington and his loving care giver and mother Maggie Hill one sister Kayola McGivery  and one brother Henrey Hills Jr. 

 

He leaves to cherish his loving and profound memories; his wife Daisy Bandy his mother Annie Bandy Marion,  two daughters Annie bandy and Sharika Bandy, two sons Bennie Bandy ( Tyona ) and Tyshawn Bandy four sisters Ellamay Peguses, Lendora Graham, Lezzie McCorick, and Bessie Lee McNeally, three brothers Willison Mamrion (Thelma), Charles Burns (Kim) 13 grand children Daisy, Genesis, Bennie Raheem, Tyric, Danny, Dyona,Niamya,Azaria, Narshawn, Carlos, Jymauri, Jaiden, Janiyah and 2 great grand children one aunt Donna Evans  Dazya and Myka,and 2 God Children Tanesha and Pam. Avery Special Friend Brenda Sinclair and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
