<p>Florence Jean Roe, 74, passed away Dec. 27, 2017 at Plains after an extended illness. She was born October 16, 1943 to Jim and Rita Robinson. Her mother died when she was a young child. Florence was a long time Sanders County resident. She began school in Trout Creek and attended Spokane schools when her family moved. She returned to Trout Creek as a teenager and lived with her grandmother Stella Smith. She finished her education at Noxon. She had one brother Bernard Robinson who is deceased. Florence and Walter Donald (Bud) Roe were married in 1966 in Coeur d&#39;Alene, Idaho. They resided in Trout Creek then moved to Belknap in 1990 where she continued to make her home. She had no children but has one surviving stepson, Mike, of Texas. When Bud passed away in 2003 she became the keeper of his animals which included miniature horses. Besides Bud and her brother she was predeceased by her parents and grandparents. Florence was a kind and generous lady and will be missed by her family and friends, including her very good friend, Judy Frank Arneson. Services will be held at Whitepine Cemetery on January 6 at 11:00 a.m. where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Bud.</p>
