James Hawe

Be happy for me. I am in heaven with the Lord. I am at peace. James “Jim” Hawe, age 81, of Waldo passed away early Friday morning, April 15, 2016, at the Atrium Post Acute Care in Plymouth, where he had been a resident for the past year. He was born on September 9, 1934 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Ralph and Mary (Berry) Hawe. Jim lived in Sheboygan and also in Sheboygan Falls where he graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1950. On October 10, 1970 he married Di Anne Parrish at the Waldo Methodist Church. He worked on his Dad’s mink ranch and drove milk truck for Midwest Creamery and Modern Dairy for many years. Jim retired in 1994 from the Vollrath Company in Sheboygan after 36 years. Jim enjoyed fishing, spending time with his loving grandchildren and watching the wild life on the pond. He drove for the Office of Aging and was a member of the Waldo Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: Di Anne of Waldo; Daughter: Amy (Shawn) Carpenter of Sheboygan; Son: Andrew Hawe of Waldo; Three Grandsons: Bret (Jazzmo) Froh of Sheboygan, Cody Froh (Special Friend: Jessica) of Sheboygan and Mason Carpenter of Sheboygan; Two Granddaughters: Hailey Hawe of Sheboygan and Paige Carpenter of Sheboygan; four great grandchildren: Camdyn, Adriel, Korbin and Khristian. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Betty Hellmer and Marilyn Hendershot; one brother: Ronald “Tucker” Hawe. Following Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be NO SERVICES OR VISITATION. In lieu of flowers, please give a donation to your Church or favorite charity in Jim’s name.
