David Alan Sizemore July 11, 1951 - February 22, 2017 South Bend - David A. Sizemore, 65, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. David was born July 11, 1951 in Mishawaka to the late Al and Lenore (Mickels) Sizemore. On June 18, 1988, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church, David married his loving wife Elaine (Zakowski ) Sizemore, she survives along with sons, Shane (Jacinda) Sizemore of Granger, Lance Sizemore of Mishawaka, and Seth Sizemore of South Bend; grandchildren, Cole and Zoe Sizemore; brothers, Dennis (Linda) Sizemore, Donald Sizemore, Daniel (Robin) Sizemore, Duane Sizemore; sisters, Dorothy (Ed) Mroczek and Dawn Sizemore; mother-in-law, Theresa “Busia” Zakowski; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. David honorably served his country in the United States Army and Marine Corp. He was a sales manager for Jordon Automotive. David was a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post 357. David loved the outdoors, especially working in his yard. He enjoyed playing golf, men’s softball, and loved Notre Dame football. Visitation for David will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 25, 2017 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
