Myra Osborne VanEpps, 102, of McGraw, NY, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center, Cortland, NY.

Born in Willet, NY, on March 20, 1915, Mrs. VanEpps was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Sternbergh Johnson Osborne.  A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the McGraw United Methodist Church and a member of the Philathea Class of the church.  She retired from Higgins Supply, McGraw, in 1977.  In 1979, she moved to North Port, FL, and then back to McGraw in 2006.  She served as a girl scout leader for several years.  She and her late husband, Waldo, enjoyed square dancing.  An avid quilt maker, Mrs. VanEpps made a quilt for each one of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lucille (Paul Merihew) McKee of Marathon, Janice (Richard) Allis of Cortland, Sarah (Eric) Snow of Marathon, and David (Diane) VanEpps of McLean.  She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Waldo, in 1997; a sister, Arlene Osborne in 1919; and brothers, Wayland Osborne in 2000 and Harvey Osborne in 2015.

A memorial service will be held at the McGraw United Methodist Church, McGraw, NY, on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with her pastor, Reverend Cathy Lee, officiating.  Burial will be in McGraw Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  The family will be present to receive friends at the church prior to the service on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. VanEpps may be directed to the McGraw United Methodist Church, 20 E.
