. Catherine G. Gardner Catherine G. "Kay" Gardner, a long-time resident of Masonic Village in Sewickley, passed away on December 10, 2015. She was 96 years of age. Born on November 30, 1919, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Carl E. and Laura (Falls) Genkinger. She was a homemaker. On November 23, 1939, she married Richard Gardner, who preceded her in death on November 1, 1999. Kay is survived by her children, Karen Luderer, and her husband, Dr. Robert Luderer, of Clarion, and Dr. Robert Gardner, and his wife, Beverly Gardner, of Englewood, OH; her four grandchildren, Matthew Luderer, of Greensburg, Mark Luderer, of Zelienople, Tiffany (Travis) Minton, of Dayton OH, and Jeffrey (Jessica) Gardner, of Mannheim, Germany. Kay is also survived by her four great-grandchildren, Alexis Luderer, Sydni Luderer, Parker Minton, and Ava Minton. Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. December 29, 2015 in the Club House Assembly Room at the Masonic Village at Sewickley (1000 Masonic Drive, Sewickley PA 15143) with Pastor Randy Evans and Rev. Tim Reichard, officiating. Interment will be in the Allegheny County Memorial Park.
