<p>After a courageous battle with cancer, John passed away on March 23, 2018 at Boundary Trails Hospital in Winkler, MB.</p> <p>He leaves to mourn his passing: sisters Jean and Mary; brother Morris; nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley in 1975 and his brother Peter in 2011. John will be laid to rest next to his wife Shirley at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Arbakka, MB.</p> <p>The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Vita and Winkler hospitals for taking good care of John.</p> <p>The funeral service will be officiated by Fr. Miron Pozniak on Wednesday, March 28th at 10:00 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 245 Railway Avenue in Vita, MB, followed by interment at Sts.
