Matthew Michael Bisson

Matthew Michael Bisson, 28, of Siler City, NC, passed away December 10, 2015. Born in Summerville, he was the son of Marlene Singer and the late Michael Bisson. He graduated from Summerville High School in 2005. While in high school, he played football and was in the band. Matt was currently studying Homeland Security and Emergency Management at Post University in North Carolina. He was a member of the Army National Guard and worked as a driver for FedEx. Matt enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Carolina Hurricanes and loved Clemson Football. He is survived by his mother, Marlene Singer and fiancé Todd Williams of Goose Creek; brother, Jason Bisson and wife Jennifer of Summerville; sister, Alexandria Stanfield of Cottageville; nieces, Aubrey and Savannah Bisson of Summerville; stepmother, Barbara Bennett of Summerville; fiancé, Jennifer Snow of Siler City, NC. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be submitted or viewed online at www.mcalister-smith.com.
