Annie "Peenie" B. Phillips

<p>On January 7, 2018, God saw you getting weary, so He placed His arms around you and carried you to Heaven</p> <p>to be with Him.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Annie &ldquo;Peenie&rdquo; Phillips was born August 3, 1944, in Artesia, Mississippi. She was the third of five children born</p> <p>unto the late Matthew and Annie Mae Phillips.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Annie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at New Prospect M. B. Church. She later joined Tenth Street Fairlawn Baptist Church and attended regularly until her health started to fail her. It was her faith in Christ that enabled her to face and overcome the many challenges that life threw her way. She attended Motley High School.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Annie had many passions. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, talking on the phone, watching television and meeting new people. She never met a stranger, but her biggest passion was taking care of children. She had an uncondi- tional love for children, and they loved and respected her as well. She had a contagious smile that brightened everyone&rsquo;s day who she came in contact with. Annie had a big heart; people recognized that and because of it, she will be missed tremendously in her community.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Annie gave birth to one child, Barbara Phillips. She and Barbara shared a strong, never ending bond.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

to be with Him.

 

Annie “Peenie” Phillips was born August 3, 1944, in Artesia, Mississippi. She was the third of five children born

unto the late Matthew and Annie Mae Phillips.

 

Annie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at New Prospect M. B. Church. She later joined Tenth Street Fairlawn Baptist Church and attended regularly until her health started to fail her. It was her faith in Christ that enabled her to face and overcome the many challenges that life threw her way. She attended Motley High School.
