Norman Jennings, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28th at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judith (Jerome); his daughter, Lynn (Mike) Kelleher of Conifer, CO; his sons, Adam (Karen) Jennings of Camillus, NY: Caleb (Danielle) Jennings of Lancaster, NY; a brother Leroy (Vi) Jennings of Port Austin, Michigan; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many close friends. Born and raised in Cortland, NY, the son of Grace and Leo Jennings, he lived most of his life in upstate New York. For the last several years he enjoyed wintering in Florida. After graduating from West Genesee High School in 1957, he enlisted in the Air Force as a pharmacist. After the Air Force, he had a diverse career as an entrepreneur and small business owner. There will be 2 celebrations of life. The first will be Friday, February 17th at Midway Estates, Vero Beach, Florida at 1 pm. The second memorial service will occur in the Syracuse area the weekend of March 11th. In lieu of flowers and donations, “KEEP THE POWDER DRY”.
