It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wesley M. Priewe on April 29, 2020.

Wesley, age 91, of Durbin ND was born May 11, 1928 in Amenia, ND to Adolph & Bertha Priewe. He lived on the family farm and was educated in Amenia.

Wesley was united in marriage to Doris Heger on November 11, 1953 in Casselton ND. He was drafted in the Army in 1954 and served two years. After his discharge they made their home and farmed near Durbin ND. Wes loved his farm and meticulously maintained his farmstead until his passing. Wes loved spending many weekends at the lakes for a getaway with grandchildren and family.

Wesley is survived by his daughter; [Vicki] & Danny Luther, of Wheatland, son; [Vaughn] Priewe, of Fargo, and grandchildren; [Megen] Luther, of Moorhead; [Margo] & Dave Erickson, of Reiles Acres; [Devin] & Danielle Luther, of Wheatland and one sister [Harriet] Vining, of Fargo.

Wesley was preceded in death by his wife Doris, siblings; Janis Priewe, Violet Sullivan & Patty Peterson.

 

Private Funeral Service:  2:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND

Military Honors:   Willis W. Weber AMVETS Post #3, Valley City, ND, and ND National Guard Honors Team.

Burial:  St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery, Casselton, ND
