<p>Kathleen Louise (Brennan) Saffian, 88, of Twin Mountain, New Hampshire passed away on November 22, 2017 at Littleton Regional Healthcare. Active, hopeful, generously engaged with family and friends (as much as with those newly met!), loving and reverent, she was at peace in her final days. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband of 58 years George, her parents William and Letitia Brennan, her brother Bill, and her sister Letitia. She is survived by her seven children, Karen, Mark, Linda, Jim, Kathy, Bill, and John, 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, her sister Mary Jo Duffy, and her brother James Brennan.</p> <p>Kathleen was born May 25, 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island, and graduated from Trinity College in Washington DC and Columbia University in New York. A devoted Catholic and loving wife and mother, she and George moved their seven children from Willimantic, Connecticut to Twin Mountain in 1974 where they owned and operated the Ammonoosuc Campground, a country store, and The Pizza Pub restaurant. Retiring from business after 22 years, Kathleen devoted the rest of her life to her family, her church, and her community.</p> <p>Kathleen&rsquo;s love of her family and friends was exceeded only by her love of the Lord, Jesus Christ. An avid lover of life as well, she was especially devoted to the protection of the unborn. Her constant mantra was &ldquo;No storm can shake my inmost calm, while to that rock I&rsquo;m clinging, since Love is Lord of heaven and earth, how can I keep from singing.&rdquo;</p> <p>Rest in peace Mom&hellip; and keep on singing! We all miss you.</p> <p>Visiting Hours will be at Ross Funeral Home, Whitefield Chapel, 69 Lancaster Rd. Whitefield, NH on Friday November 24, from 6-8PM. Fr. Matt Mason will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 65 St. Patricks Church Rd, Twin Mountain, NH, on Saturday November 25, at 11AM. Matt Mason will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 65 St. Patricks Church Rd, Twin Mountain, NH, on Saturday November 25, at 11AM. Interment will take place in the spring at St. Margarets Cemetery.
