Marjorie C. "Midge" Humphreys, 75, of Lyndonville, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Medina Memorial Hospital.<br><br>Born on February 2, 1940 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Katherine (Routh) Conner<br>.<br>Midge graduated from the Highland School of Nursing in Rochester, NY. She worked and traveled extensively around the world, while raising two children and returned to the Lyndonville area. In the mid 1990's, she retired from the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, after many years of service. She enjoyed visiting with her lifelong friends and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and spending time on her porch.<br><br>She is survived by two children, Kevin (Maria) Humphreys of Webster, NY; Kelly (Brian) Hepting of Towson, Maryland; four grandchildren, Conner, Brynn, Charley, Ty and two nephews, Larry and Garry Conner of California.<br>Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a beloved brother, Harry Conner.<br><br>A memorial service will be at a held in the first week of July 2016 at a place and date to be announced.<br>Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Midge's name to: Yates Community Library, 15 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098. <br><br>Arrangements were made through the Bates &amp; Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY.
