Jacob Draper, age 33, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017. Jacob Andrew Draper was born on March 28, 1983, the son of Ricky and Kim (Johnson) Draper in Cadillac, Michigan. He graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He was currently working at Zero Zone in Ramsey, MN as an engineer. Jacob was the ultimate outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling, shooting guns and spending time at the cabin in the UP of Michigan with his family. His faithful companion ‘Boss’ went everywhere with him. Jacob will be forever remembered by his parents, Rick and Kim; brother Nate (Katy) Draper; nieces, Layla and Alayna Draper; grandmother Jean (Ray Sherman) Draper; aunts and uncles, Tim & Darlene Terrill, Alan & Renee McQuestion, Scott and Paula Nix, Sam & Melanie Draper and Jeff Draper; special friend Lynn; along with many cousins, other relatives and great friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bernie and Ginny Johnson; grandfather Keith Draper; and younger brother Eric Draper. A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Tustin, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church.
