Funeral services honoring the life of Robert Quinones of Leesville will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 10 :00 AM in the chapel of Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 East Union St., Leesville, LA with Rev. Paul Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 starting at 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm in the chapel of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Robert was born December 2, 1958 at Ft. Polk, Louisiana to Pablo and Mary Quinones and passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Alexandria, LA at the age of 58 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Leesville High School where he ran track and played basketball. After graduation, Robert worked in the oil field for 22 years, then in Afghanistan for 13 years, and recently at Ft. Polk for the American Warrior Network. Robert enjoyed working in his yard and doing woodwork. He and his daughter Megan had a very strong bond. They loved watching movies together and the Dallas Cowboys. His pets, Popcorn the dog and Roomer the cat were also a fun part of his life. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, granddaughter, Allie Mae Elizabeth Smith, and in-laws, Francis and Melba Hughes.
