James Scott Roeseler Obituary

  James Scott Roeseler peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on January 26,

2020 in Littleton Colorado, after a heroic battle with Leiomyosarcoma Cancer. He was born April 29,

1959 in Ogden Utah. He was the son of Floyd and Ardith Roeseler. Jim graduated from Bonneville High

School in 1977. On June 24, 2011 he married the love of his life Fawn Fletcher Swenson. They moved

to Pennsylvania before making their home in Littleton Colorado. Jim dedicated 39 years of his career

working for Irex Corp. During that time, he enjoyed being able to live in various places including Alberta

Canada and met various people who he had lifelong friendships with. Jim enjoyed all outdoor activities

especially hunting, camping, golfing, and spending time with good friends and family. He also had a

great love for his dogs Rosco and Cooter.

  Jim is survived by his wife Fawn, his father Floyd Roeseler, his brother Gary (Jo) Roeseler, Niece Kari (Casey) Roberts, 

 and nephews Nick (Kandi) Roeseler, Ryan (Giovanna) Roeseler, step-daughter Lacee (Christian) Porter, step-son

Landon (Malynne) Swenson, many great-nieces and nephews, and grand-children. He was preceded in

death by son Tyler Roeseler and mother Ardith Roeseler. He especially loved the little kids in his family,

and they loved him.

  Many thanks to all family and friends for your love and support through his courageous battle of

Leiomayosarcoma. Special thanks to Dr. Victor Villalobos, Dr. Johnathan Treem at UC Health along with

the staff, as well as the IHC staff on the third floor, and Hospitalist team who gave him and extra year of

life. Thank you to Suncrest Hospice for their care.

  Services for close friends and family. Viewing will be held at Aarons Mortuary 496 24th Street Ogden,

Utah 84401 on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held at the Uintah

Cemetery, 1500 E. 6450 S. Uintah, Utah on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 11:00 am.
